Filipino Arts are based on Weapons, but make no mistake, the empty hand is taught with the weapon first. You will not know your empty hand skills without knowing the stick first. It is mechanics and motion that  makes the difference, not the muscle and might of an opponent.Your brain and your motion can win the battle if you have the skill. Think about David and Goliath!
